Personnel Policy

NC KTZ JSC  is the largest employer, the list number of employees of the Company at the end of 2022 amounted to 113 769  people.

We strive to create the most favorable conditions for the life and work of our employees and the opportunity to develop their professional skills, as well as to build relationships between the Company's employees based on mutual respect, equality and justice.

The personnel policy of NC KTZ JSC until 2029 is a fundamental document defining the main approaches, principles, requirements and directions for the development of the human resource management function in the Company and its subsidiaries. 

The company is a member of the UN Global Compact and shares principles in the field of human rights, labor relations, environmental protection and anti-corruption.

Human rights

The Company fully complies with the labor legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as international standards for the protection of human rights and labor standards, which are enshrined in:

• International Charter of Human Rights;

• Declarations of the International Labour Organization on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work;

• European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights.

The Company ensures inclusiveness, diversity, fair and equal treatment to realize the potential of all employees based on common values, cultural diversity, gender, racial and other equality. 

The Company does not tolerate any form of discrimination, including discrimination on religious, racial, ethnic, gender, age and other grounds. 

The Company prohibits any form of behavior that is offensive, aggressive or hostile.

The Company has a clear management vertical, according to which significant issues of respect for human rights are brought to the attention of management. 

The Board of Directors and the Management Board of the Company consider information about the risks associated with human rights violations.

Information about cases of human rights violations is collected through communication channels through which all internal and external stakeholders can report violations, including in the field of human rights.



The company adheres to the principles of diversity, which includes a variety of people in business processes: different national groups, gender, people with disabilities. 

The company recognizes that the absence of discrimination, comfortable communication for representatives of different genders, races, nationalities, faiths, people with health and developmental disabilities is not only justified from the point of view of ethics and universal values about justice, but also has clear advantages for business.

The company strives to create equal access to opportunities regardless of social identity. Indigenous peoples

The Company understands the principles of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples and the International Labour Organization Convention on Indigenous and Tribal Peoples.

However, the Company notes that Kazakhstan is a secular state in which various confessions peacefully coexist.

The Company recognizes the principles of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan aimed at implementing the state national policy, ensuring socio-political stability in the Republic of Kazakhstan and improving the effectiveness of interaction between state and civil society institutions in the field of interethnic relations.

The company contributes to the creation of a multi-ethnic Kazakh society.
