The reconstruction of the Karauylkeldy railway station, originally built in 1945, has been fully completed in the Aktobe region. The work was carried out as part of the national railway station modernization program, implemented on the instructions of the Head of State.
During the reconstruction, the area of the single-story building was increased from 112 to 207.73 square meters. The framework and roof were completely renovated, and the facade was clad with fiber cement panels. Internal utility networks were modernized, finishing works were completed, and the surrounding area was landscaped.
Inside the premises, the walls were finished with decorative plaster and water-emulsion paint, and Armstrong-type suspended ceilings were installed. Porcelain stoneware and modular vinyl tiles were used for the flooring. The station is equipped with new furniture and all necessary equipment. Domestic, Kazakhstani-made materials were used during the construction process.
The Karauylkeldy station is classified as a Type 2 facility. The average daily passenger traffic is about 66 people. A total of 12 trains operate through the station, connecting it with Semey, Mangistau, Beyneu, Atyrau, Oral, Aktobe, Kokshetau, Burabay, Kostanay, Shymkent, Turkistan, Taraz, and Shu.
