The construction of the Bakhty-Ayagoz railway line was inspected

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Olzhas Bektenov, has set a clear objective to ensure the completion of the construction project within the established timeframe and in compliance with all quality requirements.

Today, as part of a working visit to the Abay region, Talgat Aldybergenov, Chairman of the Management  Board of JSC NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy, inspected the construction of the 303-kilometer Bakhty-Ayagoz railway line. To date, 550 units of specialized equipment and 814 specialists are involved in the work. Four temporary worker camps have been built (Ai, Sholpan, Urzhar and Bakhty). As of the end of the current month, 4.1 million cubic meters of earthworks have been completed out of a total of 34.8 million cubic meters (12%).

Talgat Aldybergenov ordered an additional increase in production capacity at the site and an acceleration of the pace of work. The contractor was instructed to strictly adhere to the established deadlines.

The general contractor China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd. has confirmed its commitment to fully complete the work within the specified timeframe.

It is worth noting that the construction of the new Bakhty-Ayagoz railway line will enhance the country's transport and transit potential, significantly increase throughput between Kazakhstan and China and open a third border crossing Bakhty-Chuguchak (Tacheng).
