Transportation of new harvest grain under special supervision

KTZ has placed the logistics and uninterrupted transport of agricultural products under special supervision. The overall organization of transporting the new harvest is coordinated by the Grain Headquarters. Its field meetings were held in Kostanay and Kokshetau, with the participation of shippers, traders, exporters, representatives of JSC "Astyk Trans", local administrations (akimats), the transport prosecutor's office, and phytosanitary services of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

To ensure a steady transportation process, the entire necessary fleet of grain hoppers, boxcars, and mainline locomotives has been deployed across the rail network.

The Akmola Region provides the bulk of the new harvest shipments, leading the harvesting campaign. Since the beginning of the season, 31% of the total grain loading volume nationwide has been dispatched from this region. Most of the Akmola grain is sent for export, particularly via direct unit trains.

The Kostanay Region remains another key grain-producing territory. The vast majority of Kostanay grain is also directed to foreign markets. Uzbekistan continues to be the primary export destination, accounting for 43% of the export volume. Grain was also delivered to Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Latvia, Estonia, and Turkmenistan.
