Altynkol – Zhetygen Section Modernization: Capacity Increase and Digital Control

The technological "window" has been completed as part of the next stage of the Altynkol – Zhetygen section modernization project on the first section.

The key result of the work was the implementation of a modern digital train control system and the expansion of track infrastructure.

On the 68.4 km Iintal – Taskarasu section, the mainline railway network facilities were modernized through the construction of new station tracks and the extension of existing ones. This will increase the section's capacity from 18 to 33 pairs of trains per day.

Work on the remaining sections continues.
