Railway workers join the nationwide decade of "Nauryznama"

Various events will be held in all KTZ branches across the country as part of the decade of "Nauryznama", including decorating ethno-villages in the territories of divisions, treating with national dishes and congratulating industry veterans. Charity events will be organized: auyzashar in a nursing home with traditional treats, a fair where you can sell or exchange things made with your own hands (baked goods, souvenirs, crafts). All proceeds will be used to help those in need.

In addition, young railway workers, corporate volunteers will provide assistance to industry veterans at home by cleaning yards from snow, repairing and painting. As part of environmental initiatives, the following events will be held: "Plant a tree", "Clean up the territory", "Help the animal shelter". There will also be a sports festival "Ulttyk sport - ult kelbeti", where the company's employees will participate in competitions in national sports. As part of the cultural and historical festival, the following will be held: a presentation of national traditions - "The Way of Life: Birth Rites and Traditions". A demonstration of national clothes of different cultures and an introduction to the cuisine, songs and traditions of the peoples of Kazakhstan. The action "Solidarity, Unity and Harmony" will be held at the interstate junction stations of Tobol, Lokot, Dostyk, Sary-Agash and Akzhayik. A mass celebration of Nauryz will take place in Astana near the Nurly Zhol railway station complex. On the final day of the decade, March 23, a nationwide environmental campaign will be held.

Nauryznama is a unique holiday that unites people of different ages and creates an atmosphere of unity, mutual understanding and respect for national traditions. The new format of the Nauryznam celebration, approved in 2024 on the initiative of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, makes Nauryz multi-day and full of cultural events.

Each day of the holiday will be held under a specific theme: "Korisu - Amal merekesi" (Day of greetings, warm meetings and good wishes), "Kaiyrymdylyk" (Day of charity), "Madeniet zhane ulttyk salt-dastur" (Day of culture and national traditions), "Shanyrak" (Family Day), "Ulttyk kiim" (Day of national clothing), "Zhanaru" (Day of renewal), "Ulttyk sport" (Day of national sports), "Yntymak" (Day of unity and solidarity), "Zhyl basy" (New Year) and "Tazaru" (Day of purification).
