Reconstruction of railway stations at 13 stations in Karaganda region is underway

As part of a large-scale reconstruction program for 125 railway stations in Karaganda region, the stations at Saryshagan, Agadir, Balkhash-2, Moiynty, Myrza, Temirtau, Aysa, Nura, Dariya, Zharyk, Osakarovka, Karaganda-Sortirovochnaya, Zhana Karaganda will be renovated.

Before the start of the reconstruction, each facility underwent a mandatory technical inspection carried out by specialized organizations. This made it possible to determine the current state of structures and engineering systems. Based on the results of the inspections, design and estimate documentation was developed. All projects undergo a comprehensive non-departmental examination, which guarantees compliance with environmental, inclusive and other regulatory requirements.

During the modernization, roofs and facades, passenger platforms, interior spaces are repaired, and utility lines are replaced. Modern alarm, communication, video surveillance and fire alarm systems are being installed. Particular attention is paid to creating a barrier-free environment for all groups of the population.

One of the key principles of reconstruction is the preservation of the architectural appearance of buildings of historical value. In the Karaganda region, such facilities include the Dariya and Zharyk stations. Modernization will significantly improve comfort and safety for passengers, while preserving the cultural heritage of the region.
