Spartakiad of KTZ employees started in Astana

The annual Spartakiad has begun in Astana among employees of the central office, branches, and subsidiaries of JSC NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy stationed in the capital. These competitions have become a long-standing tradition, strengthening not only the physical fitness but also the team spirit of thousands of railway workers.

The sports competition program covers four popular disciplines:

- November 15 – futsal,
- November 16 – volleyball,
- November 23 – table tennis and basketball.

This year's Spartakiad attracted a record number of participants, demonstrating the growing interest in sports within the company. From the very first matches, it was clear that the competition would be fierce. Twenty-five teams participated in the futsal competition, demonstrating the game's high popularity among railway workers.

The competition promises to be equally intense on the volleyball court, with 22 teams ready to demonstrate their team spirit and athletic prowess.

The Spartakiad is an important part of KTZ's social policy, aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle, team cohesion, and the development of a strong corporate culture.
