Span structures of 90 bridges have been installed on the Dostyk - Moiynty section

The construction of second tracks on the railway section from Dostyk to Moiynty is one of the country's important infrastructure projects, which will open up additional opportunities for Kazakhstan's exports and transit in the direction of China. To date, the main work has been completed by 90%.

The construction of artificial structures is nearing completion. The span structures of 90 bridges out of 92 according to the project have already been installed. Work is currently underway to install the supports of the remaining two bridges on the Razyezd 8 - Beskol section.
 

Also, within the framework of the project, 28 road overpasses are being built on the sections Sarykum - Kokdombak, Kokdombak - Balkhash, Balkhash 1 - Balkhash 2. Balkhash 2 - Ortaderesin, Ortaderesin - Tokrau, Tokrau - Akzhaydak, Akzhaydak - Ashchyozek, etc.

Recall that the total length of the second tracks from the Dostyk station to Moiynty is 836 kilometers. KTZ plans to launch traffic on them in June of this year, which is ahead of the approved schedule.
