New service for cargo transportation in baggage cars of passenger trains

In the context of rapid growth of e-commerce, a subsidiary of KTZ ("KTZ Express" JSC) has introduced a new service for cargo transportation in mail and baggage cars as part of passenger trains. 

The first shipment took place: a 300 cubic meter cargo was sent from Almaty-2 station in the direction of Astana-1 station, which arrived at its destination in just 24 hours.

It is noted that KTZ Express transports oversized cargo in specialized cars that have no analogues in the CIS countries. This service ensures high speed due to the use of the passenger train schedule.

At the moment, the service operates on the Almaty-Astana route. In the near future, it is planned to expand the geography both within Kazakhstan and on international routes.
