NC KTZ JSC and TCDD Taşimacilik A.Ş. signed an Agreement on cooperation for the development of the Middle Corridor

As part of the official visit of the President of Kazakhstan K.K. Tokayev to Turkey, an Agreement was signed between NC KTZ JSC and TCDD Taşimacilik A.Ş. on cooperation and business development for the transportation of goods along the Middle Corridor railway route. 

The agreement covers a wide range of joint activities aimed at increasing the efficiency and competitiveness of the route. Among the main areas:

- Organization of regular route railway service between Kazakhstan and Turkey;
- Increasing the volume of transportation on the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway section;
- Expansion of the capacity of freight transportation between China and Europe/Africa in both directions;
- Optimization of transit procedures and coordination of logistics operations to improve transportation efficiency;
- Simplification of customs and administrative processes to ensure accelerated passage of goods across borders, etc.

The companies intend to jointly develop digital solutions, including the introduction of electronic paperless document management for the effective management and tracking of containers and rolling stock.

The implementation of joint investment projects and initiatives will contribute to the development of Kazakhstan's transport and transit potential and strengthen its role in global trade.
