KTZ management checked the readiness of the railway infrastructure for the spring flood on the Atyrau-Uralsk section

Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of NC KTZ JSC Talgat Aldybergenov visited enterprises located in the regions of Atyrau and Uralsk on a working trip, where he inspected the readiness of the infrastructure and personnel for work in the spring.

During the trip, he inspected the bridges over the Sokolok channel, the Ural and Chagan rivers, assessed the formation of an anti-washout train at the Uralsk station, and met with the heads of the Department of Emergency Situations.

The commission also visited a plant for the production of geosynthetic materials, a wagon building plant and a locomotive depot in Atyrau.

As part of the working trip, a meeting was held with representatives of the Department of Emergency Situations of the West Kazakhstan Region, at which measures to prevent possible consequences of floods and ensure the safety of train traffic were discussed.
