KTZ delegation visited railway facilities in the United States

As part of a working visit to the United States, Talgat Aldybergenov, Chairman of the Management Board of NC KTZ JSC, met with the management of Norfolk Southern  Corporation, one of the largest US railway companies, and toured its key infrastructure facilities.

During the visit, the KTZ delegation learned about the operation of the central dispatch center and toured the company's operational facilities - the Inman Yard marshalling yard in Atlanta and the Austell multimodal terminal, which handles the transshipment and processing of containerized cargo.

They exchanged experiences in the digitalization of transport management, the implementation of intelligent train planning systems, improving the efficiency of supply chains, and the development of railway infrastructure.

The KTZ delegation also visited the office of the American company Wabtec Corporation. During the meeting, they discussed cooperation in locomotive fleet renewal, the implementation of innovative safety systems, and digital traffic management platforms.
