KTZ auditors found passengers without travel tickets

KTZ continues systematic work to prevent cases of fare dodgers. In order to increase the transparency of the train crews' activities, internal audits are conducted with the participation of representatives of the public and the Media.

At the end of March 2025, during an audit on trains No. 85/86 "Astana - Shymkent" and No. 3/4 "Astana - Almaty", cases of six passengers being transported without tickets were revealed.

Currently, internal investigations have been initiated into these incidents. Based on their results, the guilty train crew employees will be held accountable, up to and including dismissal.

Since the beginning of 2025, 14 cases of fare dodgers have been recorded as part of raids.
Internal audits are conducted on all routes of the national carrier.

KTZ calls on citizens to report cases of passengers being transported without tickets and illegal resale of tickets so that timely measures can be taken.
