The President was provided with information on the performance of the National Company. As Talgat Aldybergenov reported, according to the results of the first half of 2025, the operational cargo turnover increased by 8.6%. The volume of transit traffic reached 14.6 million tons.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was informed that more than 1,700 km of new railway lines are being built and 3 thousand km of tracks are being modernized to form the Trans-Kazakhstan Railway Corridor. This year, the construction of second tracks on the Dostyk - Moiynty section and the Almaty bypass is being completed. The implementation of the Darbaza - Maktaaral project is ongoing. The construction of the Bakhty - Ayagoz and Kyzylzhar - Moiynty lines has begun.
The Head of State was informed that work is ongoing to expand the terminal network. Kazakhstan's presence at such key cargo consolidation points as China, Russia, Hungary, Belarus, Azerbaijan and Georgia optimizes logistics and increases the efficiency of transportation in the East-West and North-South directions.
Particular attention is paid to digitalization issues. In partnership with world innovation leaders, work is underway to improve the quality and ensure the safety of rail transport. Automation of transit declarations on the TITR ensured the transparency of logistics operations and accelerated the delivery of goods. The time for processing declarations was reduced from 8 hours to 30 minutes.
In conclusion, the President noted the importance of further modernization of the transport infrastructure, emphasizing the key role of KTZ in the development of the transit potential and economy of Kazakhstan.
