Half of the railway repair campaign is complete: more than 700 km of tracks have been repaired

Large-scale work to update the railway infrastructure continues in the country. To date, more than 700 kilometers of railway tracks have already been repaired - this is half of the total annual plan, which is 1,482 km.
As part of the major track repairs, 292 km of the planned 513 km have been completed. Work has been completed on 14 sections out of 40:
Kostanay region
* Kunshash – Karagalinskaya – 36 km
Pavlodar region
* Erkenshilik – Ereimentau – 28 km
* Aksu-I – Aksu-2 – 13 km
* Sputnik – Bastau – 4 km
Almaty region
* Lepsy – Zhaskazakh – 11 km
* Kumtobe – Eginsu – 12 km
* Chilbastau – Kopa – 7 km
Zhambyl region
* Zhideli – Birlik-1 – 12 km
* Sholdala – Kumshagyl – 11 km
Kyzylorda region
* Karaketken – rzd. Karaiіrim – 6 km
Aktobe region
* section 174 – Zharly – 9 km
* Kenzhaly – section 142 – 10 km
Atyrau region
* section 4 – Ganyushkino – 25 km
Mangistau region
* section 7 – Sai-Utes – 16 km
Also, special attention is paid to the Kokpekty – Karagayly section in the Karaganda region, which serves the Karagayly mining and processing plant. This section of the highway plays a strategic role in the removal of mineral raw materials, supply of enterprises, as well as in ensuring the sustainability of the region's economy. Currently, 21 km of enhanced medium repairs have been completed here, 15,000 wooden and 3,700 reinforced concrete sleepers have been laid, 11 km of long rails have been laid.
Repair work on the network of JSC NC KTZ continues according to schedule. The large-scale program is aimed at improving the reliability and safety of the railway network.
