Grain transportation volume by rail increased by 54%

According to the results of 5 months of the current year, 5.7 million tons of grain were transported via the KTZ network, which is 54% higher than the same period in 2024. Export transportation amounted to 4.5 million tons, an increase of 62%.

2.2 million tons of grain were sent to the countries of Central Asia, which is 28% more than last year. The volume of grain transportation via the ports of Aktau and Kuryk in the direction of Iran increased 12-fold. Transportation via the Black Sea ports increased by 20%, and via the Baltic ports - by 16%.

KTZ continues to ensure timely delivery of agricultural products of domestic producers to foreign markets.
