Development of Arys station to continue

Railway workers of the Shymkent branch of the main network plan to improve about 160 km of track in the region as part of the summer track repair campaign.

The work will be carried out using high-performance equipment: ballast cleaning and track finishing machines. With the help of UNIMAT MF and DESEC track machine complexes, the condition of more than 100 turnouts will be improved. It is also planned to replace 41 turnout complexes with new ones on a reinforced concrete base, etc.

In addition, to implement the 2nd stage of the Arys station development, railway workers will carry out intensive and medium repairs of 3 km of the bypass track between Arys-2 station and the "D" park of Arys-1 station.

Last year, as part of the first stage of development of the Arys station, two parks of the even sorting system were restored, which allowed increasing the station's capacity by 20%.
