Yellow marking at railway stations helps ensure passenger safety

As part of implementing the "Law and Order" concept, KTZ informs passengers about the purpose of yellow markings on platforms and stairs at railway stations.

The yellow line on the platform indicates the safety boundary. Passengers must stay behind the marking while waiting for a train and follow the boarding and alighting rules.

The yellow line on the first and last steps of stairs helps distinguish the beginning and end of a flight of stairs, including for visually impaired individuals, and reduces the risk of falls.

KTZ reminds passengers of the need to comply with safety rules at railway infrastructure facilities and to pay attention to warning signs.
