The renovation of the Ushtobe railway station, originally built in 1930, has been fully completed in the Jetisu Region. The work was carried out as part of the country's railway station modernization program, implemented on the instructions of the Head of State.

Following the reconstruction, the total area of the two-story building reached 1,335 square meters. The roof, facade, and interior spaces were completely updated, and the water supply, sewerage, heating, and power supply systems were modernized. The surrounding grounds and the passenger platform were also landscaped.

The building's facade is clad with linear panels, while the base is finished with granite. Inside, suspended open-cell ceilings were installed, and the floors were laid with porcelain tiles. New evacuation routes were established, and doors complying with fire safety requirements were installed. Materials manufactured in Kazakhstan were utilized throughout the project.

The station is classified as Class 3. Its average daily passenger traffic is about 435 people. Twenty-two trains run through the station, providing connections to Almaty, Astana, Pavlodar, Oskemen, Semey, Taldykorgan, Karaganda, Balkhash, as well as to Russia.

The project was implemented using the own funds of JSC "NC "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" with the support of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Transport, JSC "Samruk-Kazyna," and the Akimat of the Jetisu Region.
