Three additional commuter trains of the national carrier will start running at the beginning of summer

During the summer season, the National Carrier is introducing additional commuter trains on the Karagandy – Balkhash, Semey – Dostyk, and Oskemen – Dostyk routes. These extra routes are being launched to improve transport accessibility and accommodate passenger traffic during the peak summer demand period.
 
1. Train No. 220/219 "Karagandy – Balkhash"

Service starts on June 1, 2026. The train will run every other day on odd dates, with 19 scheduled stops along the route.

Schedule:

• Departure from Karagandy: 06:00 AM
• Arrival at Balkhash: 12:48 PM
• Departure from Balkhash: 13:45 PM
• Arrival at Karagandy: 20:53 PM

 The train consists of 6 carriages: 2 compartment (kupe) cars and 4 reserved-seat (platskart) cars. The total capacity is approximately 300 seats.

2. Train No. 457/458 "Semey – Dostyk"

Service starts on June 3, 2026. The train will run every other day, with 22 scheduled stops along the route.

Schedule:

• Departure from Semey: 04:04 PM
• Arrival at Dostyk: 10:55 AM
• Departure from Dostyk: 12:35 PM
• Arrival at Semey: 06:02 AM
   

 The train consists of 7 carriages: 2 compartment cars and 5 reserved-seat cars. The total capacity is approximately 354 seats.

3. Train No. 459/460 "Oskemen – Dostyk"

Service starts on June 3, 2026. The train will run every other day. There are 22 scheduled stops along the route.

 Schedule:

• Departure from Oskemen: 03:20 PM
• Arrival at Dostyk: 11:05 AM
• Departure from Dostyk: 12:35 PM
• Arrival at Oskemen: 07:22 AM
   

The train consists of 7 carriages: 2 compartment cars and 5 reserved-seat cars. The total capacity is approximately 354 seats.
