The tariff conference of Railway Administrations of the CIS Countries – Participants of the tariff agreement was held

The XXXV Tariff Conference of Railway Administrations (Railways) of the CIS Countries – Participants of the Tariff Agreement took place in Tashkent. The conference was chaired by the Tariff Policy Department of KTZ – Freight Transportation LLP, acting as the Secretariat of the Tariff Policy in 2026.

The conference was attended by representatives of the railway administrations of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan, as well as the directorate of the Council for Railway Transport of the CIS Member States.

The participants reviewed proposals from the railway administrations regarding the application of tariff conditions in international freight transport, discussed practical issues of tariff regulation, and exchanged experience.

Following the results of the Tariff Conference, the tariff policy of the Railways of the CIS Member States for international freight transportation for the 2027 freight year was adopted. The functions of the Secretariat of the Tariff Policy for 2026 were assigned to the railway administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
