Scheduled overhead line diagnostics completed

In 2025, over 34,000 km of overhead line on the mainline railway network underwent scheduled inspections with real-time video monitoring. The diagnostics were performed using a overhead line testing laboratory car—a modern mobile diagnostic center.

The laboratory car provides comprehensive quarterly monitoring of the railway's power supply systems and enables the prompt detection of deviations in overhead line operation.

A new automated inspection and measurement system, providing highly accurate recording and interpretation of overhead line parameters, was used during the inspections.

Since 2025, overhead line diagnostics have been carried out using this system on a regular basis. These measures have improved the reliability of the overhead line and provided an additional level of train safety.
