The reconstruction of the railway station at Saryagash station has been completed in the Turkistan region. The opening ceremony was attended by Elzhas Otynshiev, Chairman of the Management Board of JSC "NC "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy", and Nuralkhan Kusherov, Akim of the Turkistan region.

The modernization of the station was carried out as part of the national railway station renewal program, implemented under the instruction of the Head of State.

During the reconstruction, passenger and office premises, engineering networks, the roof, and the surrounding territory were updated. Durable fiber cement panels were installed on the facade, and the plinth was clad with domestically produced Kazakhstani granite tiles. Aluminum stained-glass windows with energy-saving double-glazed units replaced the former glazing.

Inside the station, a new finish was completed using durable and non-combustible materials, and the flooring, ceilings, and engineering networks were updated. The roof was completely replaced using modern thermal insulation.

Following the reconstruction, the station meets modern requirements for comfort, safety, and energy efficiency.

The daily passenger traffic of the Saryagash station is about 255 passengers. Ten passenger trains pass through the station, heading to Almaty, Shu, Taraz, Shymkent, Kyzylorda, Aktobe, and Kandyagash, as well as to cities in Russia and Uzbekistan.

The project was funded by JSC "NC "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" using its own resources, with the support of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Transport, JSC "Samruk-Kazyna", and the Akimat of the Turkistan region.
