Regarding the incident at Zhanatas Station in Zhambyl region

On March 5, 2026, at Zhanatas Station in Zhambyl region, while shunting five railcars loaded with fuel oil onto the Zhanatas Su-Zhylu siding, the driver of a shunting locomotive from the Zhambyl locomotive depot made a rigid coupling with a locomotive from a private siding belonging to KAP Logistics LLC. There were no casualties.

The cause of the incident is under investigation.

A special commission was dispatched to the scene to determine the circumstances of the incident.
