Reconstruction of Borandy Railway Station Completed in Zhambyl Region

As part of the project's implementation, the roof installation, exterior and interior finishing of the building, modernization of external and internal water supply, sewerage, heating, and power supply engineering networks, as well as the reconstruction of the passenger platform, have been completed at the Borandy station. New furniture and modern equipment have been installed. Durable materials of Kazakhstani production were used during the reconstruction.
The Borandy railway station, built in 1905, is now a modern, one-story building covering an area of 309.65 square meters after its reconstruction. Twenty passenger trains run through the station, providing connections to Almaty, Astana, Karaganda, Kokshetau, the Burabay resort, Pavlodar, Semey, Petropavlovsk, Aktobe, Mangistau, Turkistan, Shymkent, and Kyzylorda, as well as to the Russian Federation.
The reconstruction of the station aims to improve passenger service quality, create a comfortable and safe environment, and ensure the accessibility of railway infrastructure. The updated station meets modern transport infrastructure requirements and provides a higher level of comfort for residents and guests of the Zhambyl region.
