Railway workers urge future drivers to observe safety rules at railway crossings

In Kostanay, at the "Virage Auto-2012" driving school, which graduates more than 1,000 drivers annually, railway workers held a preventive lecture on safety at railway crossings. The event took place as part of the implementation of the "Law and Order" concept and the KTZ national campaign "Safe Crossing," aimed at preventing traffic accidents.

The lecture was conducted by Marat Tugambayev, Director of the Kostanay Branch of the Mainline Network. Attendees were informed about the rules for safely crossing railway tracks, reminded of the liability for violating safety requirements, and shown examples of the consequences of non-compliance with traffic regulations. Participants were also handed informative leaflets, and their questions were answered.

Preventive work at the Kostanay Branch of the Mainline Network is conducted on an ongoing basis. Since the beginning of 2026, 105 joint preventive raids with police officers have been carried out, informing 2,370 drivers. In addition, 10 preventive meetings have been organized at motor transport enterprises.

JSC "NC "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" reminds that strict adherence to the rules for crossing railway tracks is a prerequisite for safety and helps prevent traffic accidents.
