As part of the "Law and Order" ideology, KTZ has concluded its preventive campaign "Safe Crossing". From June 1 to September 10, railway workers conducted information and explanatory work at 127 railway crossings.
The main goal of the campaign is to improve the culture of safe behavior among road users and prevent violations of regulations when traversing railway crossings.
During the events, more than 18 thousand drivers received explanations regarding the rules for safe crossing, safety requirements, and liability for their violation.
The campaign took place in the Akmola, Kostanay, Pavlodar, Karaganda, Semey, Zhambyl, Kyzylorda, Aktobe, Atyrau, and Mangystau regions. The railway workers of the Almaty region showed the greatest coverage, with preventive work carried out at 23 crossings.
Railway workers also reminded drivers of the need to reduce speed in advance, carefully monitor traffic light signals, and ensure that no train is approaching before crossing the tracks.
