Rail freight grain shipments to Uzbekistan increased by 32% in 2025

In 2025, the KTZ NC network recorded significant growth on the Uzbek route. Freight shipments to and from the Republic of Uzbekistan totaled 32.3 million tons, an increase of 16%. Export shipments increased by 8.5% to 13 million tons. Meanwhile, grain shipments to Uzbekistan increased by 32% to 4.5 million tons.

In total, 319.9 million tons of freight were transported on the KTZ network in 2025, a 5.5% increase compared to 2024. Export shipments increased by 7.1% to 89.2 million tons.
