The professionalism of the KTZ crew prevented an incident on the Karaganda-Astana section

On April 6, 2026, on the Sorokovaya-OP-42 section, Karaganda depot train driver Anatoly Lomakin (TChE-14) applied emergency braking on VL80S electric locomotive No. 227 at a speed of 62 km/h. The driver of the GAZelle truck was attempting to cross the railway at an unauthorized location.

Thanks to the vigilance and prompt action of the crew, the incident was prevented. KTZ urges drivers to strictly observe the rules when crossing railway tracks.
