Kassym-Jomart Tokayev heard a report from Talgat Aldybergenov on the company's performance in 2025 and plans for the upcoming period.

The President was informed that tariff freight turnover increased by 10% to 289 billion tonne-kilometers. Transportation volumes increased by 5.5% to 320 million tonnes. Export shipments exceeded 89 million tonnes. Cargo transit increased by more than 20% to 33 million tonnes.

The President was informed that the second tracks on the Dostyk-Moiynty section, commissioned in 2025, have transported 6 million tonnes of freight, or more than 100,000 railcars. The bypass line of the Almaty station railway junction has opened for service.

Construction and modernization of railway infrastructure continues. The total length of projects is 3,900 km.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was informed that digital projects, including those using artificial intelligence, are being implemented at all levels to ensure the safety, efficiency, and transparency of the company's operations.

A mentoring program has been introduced, and the formation of a youth personnel reserve has been completed.

The President noted the importance of addressing social issues and supported the initiative to build affordable housing for railway workers.

The head of state instructed the company to continue transforming KTZ NC JSC, strengthening cooperation with major foreign companies, implementing digital solutions, and expanding infrastructure for the development of multimodal logistics.
