Over 4,000 video cameras ensure passenger safety on KTZ trains
14-10-2026
More than 4,000 video surveillance cameras have been installed on passenger trains operated by JSC Passenger Transportation. These modern systems enhance public order monitoring, boost passenger safety, and enable rapid responses to emerging incidents.
The video surveillance covers passenger carriages, helping to prevent offenses, identify conflict situations, protect personal belongings, and improve the quality of passenger service.
Special focus is placed on leveraging digital technologies to ensure safety during transit. The video cameras record events in real-time, allowing for the timely detection of violations and ensuring an objective review of passenger inquiries.
The use of video surveillance also helps improve the discipline of train crews, increases service transparency, and strengthens passenger trust in rail transport.
Ensuring passenger safety remains one of the top priorities for the national carrier. This initiative is being carried out as part of KTZ's republic-wide campaign "Safe Railway" and the "Law and Order" concept.
