A new turnout design has been implemented at Bozshakol station

Operational testing of the new P-65 type railway turnouts, models 1/9 and 1/11 (projects RWS001PMKZ.00.000 and RWS002PMKZ.00.000), has been successfully completed at Bozshakol Station of the Yereymentau Track Distance. This distance is a branch of the "Pavlodar Region of the Trunk Network" Directorate, a subsidiary of JSC "NC "KTZ".

The new design features flexible switch rails and a monoblock frog with flash-butt welded rail ends.

The implementation of this new design aims to enhance the reliability and durability of railway turnouts, increase train speeds, and extend their service life.

The installation was carried out using a modern DESEC track-laying machine, designed for the mechanized installation of railway turnouts.

Going forward, a phased rollout of this turnout design is planned across other track distances within the network's regions.
