New stage of the Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan Sea Cable System project

An operation to receive a batch of underwater fiber-optic cable was successfully carried out at the Port of Kuryk as part of the strategic "Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan Sea Cable System" project.

The bulky and heavy cargo was delivered by a convoy of three specialized vehicles. Work was completed at the port to receive and process the equipment, which will subsequently be sent to the Republic of Azerbaijan for the construction of Trans-Caspian digital infrastructure.

The implementation of the project is aimed at developing international telecommunication corridors, strengthening digital connectivity between Asia and Europe, and increasing the reliability and throughput capacity of data transmission channels in the Eurasian space.

The Port of Kuryk continues to play an important role in providing transport and logistics support for major international infrastructure projects, contributing to the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route and strengthening Kazakhstan's position as a key transit hub between East and West.
