New discounts for passengers over 60 years of age on National Carrier trains

Passenger Transportation JSC is expanding its socially oriented fare offers for various categories of citizens. Passengers over 60 can now travel across the country with a 25% discount on train tickets. To do this, simply apply for the new QURMET discount card, which is valid for all National Carrier trains and allows you to choose from compartments, reserved seats, and seated carriages with no seat restrictions. The card costs 3,000 tenge and is valid for one year from the date of purchase.

In addition, the National Carrier has introduced another discount card, KETTIK33. It is designed for passengers aged 15 to 25 and entitles them to a 33% discount on upper berths in compartment carriages and seated carriages on all routes. The card costs 3,000 tenge and is valid for one year from the date of purchase.

It's worth noting that these cards are personalized and cannot be transferred to third parties. They can only be issued in person at JSC Passenger Transportation ticket offices at railway stations. You must present identification, an email address (optional), and a mobile phone number.

The card can be used for offline ticket purchases at JSC Passenger Transportation ticket offices, as well as online purchases exclusively through the website bilet.railways.kz. Discounts are not available for tickets purchased at popular second-tier banks.

The discount is valid annually during the specified period, with the exception of holidays and vacation periods, when discount cards are not valid:

• From March 20 to 29, 2026;
• From December 25 to 30, 2026;
• From June to August.
