New assistance service for passengers with disabilities has been introduced at railway stations

The national carrier, together with the Main Line Directorate, a branch of JSC NC KTZ, has launched a new assistance service for individuals with disabilities. This service allows you to submit a request in advance for assistance from station staff, including escorting you from the vehicle to the train car and back, as well as around the station grounds.
You can apply for assistance while traveling by rail on the website bilet.railways.kz.
Currently, this service is available at 57 railway stations equipped with wheelchair access. If the service is temporarily unavailable at your selected station, the relevant options will not be displayed when purchasing your ticket.
To apply for this service:
1. Purchase a ticket on the website bilet.railways.kz;
2. During the purchase process, select the "Disabled" option, enter your IIN and disability certificate number; 3. Select the types of assistance required.
Available types of assistance:
• assistance from a station employee before the train's departure;
• Provision of a wheelchair before train departure;
• assistance from station staff when disembarking from a train;
• Provision of a wheelchair when disembarking.
Pre-submitting a request allows station employees to prepare in advance and provide passengers with timely and comprehensive assistance at all stages of the journey.
Please note that passengers with disabilities are eligible for preferential travel conditions:
• 50% discount on socially significant routes;
• 50% discount on Talgo commercial trains in specialized compartments, including a seat for an accompanying person.
