National сarrier to launch women-only carriage on Talgo train № 81/82 "Nurly Zhol – Oral"

Starting September 2, 2026, JSC "Passenger Transportation" will launch a women-only carriage on the Talgo passenger train No. 81/82 on the "Nurly Zhol – Oral" route. This decision was made due to high passenger demand for this service.

Train No. 81/82 "Nurly Zhol – Oral" provides regular rail service between the capital and the West Kazakhstan Region. Currently, the train runs every other day:

• Departure from Nurly Zhol station — on even days at 11:55 PM;
• Arrival at Oral station — on even days at 05:20 AM;
• Departure from Oral station — on even days at 09:55 AM;
• Arrival at Nurly Zhol station — on odd days at 15:04 PM.
  

There are 9 scheduled stops along the route.

With the launch of the new carriage, the number of routes offering the "Women's Carriage" service will increase to 13. Currently, women-only carriages operate on the following routes:

• No. 77/78 "Almaty-2 — Mangistau"
• No. 351/352 "Almaty-2 — Oskemen-1"
• No. 45/46 "Pavlodar — Turkistan"
• No. 37/38 "Mangistau — Semey"
• No. 47/48 "Atyrau — Nurly Zhol"
• No. 33/34 "Almaty-1 — Aktobe"
• No. 9/10 "Nurly Zhol — Almaty-2"
• No. 71/72 "Nurly Zhol — Shymkent"
• No. 24/23 "Aktobe — Almaty-1"
• No. 25/26 "Almaty-2 — Shymkent"
• No. 354/353 "Nurly Zhol — Semey"
• No. 614/613 "Oral — Mangistau"
• No. 81/82 "Nurly Zhol — Oral"
   

Boys up to and including seven years of age are allowed to travel in the women's carriage when accompanied by adults.

Tickets can be purchased at railway ticket offices by informing the cashier of the choice of a women's carriage, as well as online on the official website bilet.railways.kz. When booking a ticket, passengers should look for the "ЖН" designation, which indicates a women-only carriage.

In accordance with transportation rules, ticket sales open 45 days prior to the train's departure, allowing passengers to plan their trips in advance.
