More than 500 thousand children transported by National Carrier's trains

Ahead of International Children's Day, JSC "Passenger Transportation" summarized its child passenger traffic results. Since the beginning of the year, more than 500,000 children have been transported by the National Carrier's trains.

The most popular destinations were the Astana-Almaty, Astana-Shymkent, Almaty-Shymkent, Astana-Semey, and Almaty-Semey routes.

Specific regulations for transporting minor passengers apply on the trains:

• Parents are allowed to transport one child under the age of 7 free of charge, provided they do not occupy a separate seat;
   
• If there are multiple children under 7, free travel is granted to only one child, while child tickets must be purchased for the others;
   
• For children aged 7 to 15, a child ticket is issued at a 50% discount;
   
• Children aged 15 and older require an adult ticket, and solo travel is permitted only with a notarized consent from a legal representative.
   

In addition, multimedia services with children's content are available on all routes, and dining cars offer adapted menus.

JSC "Passenger Transportation" continues to enhance its quality of service and is expanding the range of services for its youngest passengers.
