KTZ’s locomotive fleet being prepared for winter operations

The autumn commission inspection (ACI) of the locomotive fleet has commenced across KTZ's operational locomotive depots. The inspection started on September 10 and is scheduled to conclude on October 31.

More than 1.6 thousand locomotives of various series will be prepared for winter operations.

During the ACI, specialists inspect the technical condition of the traction rolling stock, perform seasonal lubrication replacements, and bring the locomotives into proper sanitary and aesthetic condition.

The work aims to ensure the reliable operation of locomotives during the winter period.
