KTZ updates 5.5 thousand km of railway tracks

JSC "NC "KTZ" is implementing the instruction of the Head of State, given in the "Fair Kazakhstan – for All and Everyone" Program, to repair 11 thousand km of the mainline railway network by 2029. To date, 50% of the planned volume has been completed, with 5.5 thousand km of railway tracks updated.

In 2023–2025, 4,448 km of tracks were repaired, and in the current year, 1,052 km have been completed.

The works are aimed at increasing the reliability and capacity of the railway network, ensuring traffic safety, and developing infrastructure.
