KTZ Track Fleet Adds Modern Equipment

The track fleet of the Main Line Directorate, a branch of JSC NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy, has been expanded with four modern MPT-6 loading and transport railcars.

Two of the vehicles are designed to carry 10 people, and the other two are designed to carry 22 people. The new railcars are designed to transport work crews to trackwork sites, transport track superstructure materials, and perform welding operations.

The MPT-6 railcars are equipped with modern control panels, electric traction motor drives, and LED lighting and signaling systems, which improves traffic safety and improves work efficiency, including at night. The new equipment has been sent to the Aktobe, Karaganda, Kostanay, and Pavlodar branches of the main railway network.

The renewal of the track equipment fleet is an important element in improving the reliability of the infrastructure and ensuring the safe and sustainable operation of the main railway network.
