21-07-2026

On the eve of the Railway Workers' Day, Dosymzhan Yerlanov, an electromechanic at the Almaty Signaling and Communications Department of JSC NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy (KTZ), climbed Mount Elbrus—the highest peak in Europe—where he unfurled the flags of the Republic of Kazakhstan and KTZ.

He dedicated his ascent to the 35th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the railway network.

Dosymzhan Yerlanov has been working at KTZ since 2022. During this time, he has proven to be a responsible specialist and an active participant in the company's social life.

"For me, the railway is not just a profession, but an opportunity to constantly develop and achieve new goals. My production work and community involvement help me become better and benefit people," said Dosymzhan Yerlanov.

Dosymzhan is a participant in the "100 Young Faces of KTZ" project, a member of the company's youth talent pool, and a corporate volunteer. He was awarded the title of "Best Technical Inspector for Occupational Health and Safety" and won the regional stage of the "Best Young Production Worker" competition.

Sports play an important role in his life. He is the 2024 Nordic Walking World Cup winner, a prize-winner of KTZ marathons, the first railway worker to conquer 15 peaks of the Trans-Ili Alatau, an official UNICEF volunteer, and a silver medalist of the "Elbasy Medal" project.
