KTZ Management Board Chairman congratulates company athletes on historic Spartakiad victory

Yelzhas Otynshiyev, Chairman of the Management Board of JSC "NC "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy", held a solemn meeting with the railwaymen's national team, where he personally congratulated and awarded the athletes on their brilliant victory in the XI Republican Spartakiad of JSC "Samruk-Kazyna".

The KTZ team won the main Cup of the competition for the third consecutive time, confirming their status as the permanent titans of domestic corporate sports and becoming the absolute winners of the Spartakiad. The railway workers demonstrated iron will, excellence, and steel character in every sport, winning victories in the final confrontations and leaving their opponents behind in the overall team standings.

 

The KTZ team secured a total of 27 medals, including 9 gold, 13 silver, and 5 bronze awards.

During the award ceremony, it was emphasized that this triumph serves as clear proof of a simple truth: when a multi-thousand-strong collective of railway workers operates as a single, powerful, and well-coordinated mechanism, it is absolutely invincible. A total of 88 top railway athletes defended the company's honor at the Spartakiad.

Yelzhas Otynshiyev personally presented the well-deserved awards to the champions of the competition. Athletes who won gold medals and took first place in their respective disciplines were honored with the "Erligi Ushin" (For Courage) badges. All other members of the championship team, who made a significant contribution to the overall victory, received certificates of merit on behalf of the Chairman of the Management Board of KTZ. He thanked the athletes for their high professionalism, dedication, and will to win, emphasizing that the sporting achievements of the railway workers strengthen corporate spirit and motivate the entire workforce to reach new production heights.

JSC "NC "KTZ" built a truly powerful, tightly-knit, and geographically diverse squad. The team brought together workers from key railway enterprises, stations, and branches nationwide, uniting athletes from Astana, Altynkoly, Uralsk, Karaganda, Ekibastuz, Atyrau, Aktobe, Pavlodar, Oskemen, Kostanay, Mangistau, Zhambyl, Almaty, and Semey.
