JSC NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy continues to modernize its main network by implementing digital automatic block signaling on key railway sections across the country.
By the end of the first half of 2026, digital automatic block signaling has been deployed across 1,056 km of railway lines, accounting for nearly half of the planned 2,188 km target.
By the end of the year, operations will be completed on an additional 1,132 km along the Tobol – Kandyagash and Shalkar – Beyneu sections.
The implementation of digital automatic block signaling will enhance train traffic safety, ensure more efficient transportation management, and boost section throughput capacity by 1.5 times.
