KTZ honors its best rationalizers

JSC "NC "KTZ" hosted a rationalizers' conference titled "Rationalization: The Foundation of Technical Development," which brought together railway industry workers from all regions of Kazakhstan. Representatives from the "Center for Scientific and Technological Initiatives" Fund and the RSE "National Institute of Intellectual Property" also participated in the conference.

As noted by Zhandos Musin, Director of the Technical Center, the conference served as a platform for discussing production tasks, exchanging practices, and promoting effective initiatives across regions.

Today, rationalization activities at KTZ demonstrate steady results.

The majority of initiatives are focused on:

• Improving equipment reliability
• Ensuring traffic safety
• Enhancing working conditions
• Occupational health and safety
• Optimizing technological processes
• Saving fuel and energy resources

At the end of 2025, KTZ registered 401 rationalization proposals, 84 of which were recommended for replication. The economic impact of their implementation reached 28.9 million tenge, while author royalties totaled 23 million tenge.

As part of the conference, an awards ceremony was held for employees who contributed to the development of rationalization activities and technical creativity. The top specialists were recognized with badges, certificates of honor, and diplomas in categories for increasing infrastructure reliability, improving repair and operation technologies, and enhancing working conditions and traffic safety.

Additionally, the title of "Best Branch for Organizing Rationalization Activities" was awarded to the Dostyk Operational Wagon Depot and the Shalkar Signaling and Communications Distance.
