KTZ enhances qualifications of locomotive crews

Technical training sessions for drivers and their assistants were held at the Karaganda and Akadyr locomotive depots. The crews were reminded of occupational health and safety rules, as well as safety requirements when working with high-voltage equipment of electric locomotives. Special attention was paid to the prevention of electrical injuries and action protocols in non-standard situations.

The railway workers were also briefed on the development plans for the locomotive sector and the renewal of traction rolling stock. The main objective of the training is to enhance traffic safety, achieve zero injuries, and increase the professionalism of employees.

Similar meetings will be held across the country.
