The KTZ delegation participated in the Global Sustainable Transport Forum in Beijing

A delegation from JSC "NC "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" (KTZ), led by Murat Toregeldin, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of JSC "NC "KTZ", participated in the events of the third Global Sustainable Transport Forum in Beijing, China. The visit took place as part of a working trip by a government delegation headed by Nurlibek Nalibayev, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The forum brought together approximately 1,000 representatives from foreign government and ministerial delegations, international organizations, the diplomatic corps, the expert community, and business circles.

 

The key event for the Kazakh side was a high-level session dedicated to the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR). During the session, Kazakhstan's large-scale infrastructure projects aimed at accelerating freight transportation and integrating logistics flows between Asia and Europe were presented.

As part of the forum, KTZ representatives participated in discussions on the digital transformation of railways, increasing the efficiency of multimodal transport, and expanding the capacity of logistics corridors. The importance of close cooperation between railway administrations and ports to create a seamless logistics ecosystem was emphasized.
