KTZ and RZD sign joint action plan for digitalization of freight transportation

As part of the state visit of President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin to the Republic of Kazakhstan, and in the presence of the Heads of State, JSC NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy and JSC Russian Railways signed a Joint Action Plan for the development of digitalization in rail freight transportation.
The main goal of the plan is to establish a unified digital space between the railways of Kazakhstan and Russia. The implementation of joint initiatives will increase the efficiency of the transportation process, accelerate cargo handling, and ensure the deployment of modern digital solutions on international routes.

Additionally, the parties agreed to gradually increase train exchange volumes across nine Russian-Kazakhstani interstate border crossing points.
The signing of this document marks a major step in advancing transport and logistics cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia, while reinforcing Kazakhstan's role as a key economic bridge between Russia and Central Asian countries. Implementing these joint initiatives will create further opportunities to accelerate cargo flows and optimize supply chains across the entire Eurasian region.
