KTZ and OSJD Expand Strategic Cooperation in Astana

Today in Astana, as part of the anniversary XL meeting of the OSJD Conference of General Directors of Railways, Talgat Aldybergenov, Head of JSC “NC “Kazakhstan Temir Zholy”, met with Miroslaw Antonowicz, Chairman of the OSJD Committee.

The parties reaffirmed key cooperation priorities, including the development and improvement of international rail transport between Europe and Asia, with a focus on combined logistics solutions, the development of a coordinated transport policy, and the improvement of international transport law.

Special attention was paid to the development of scientific and technical cooperation and the implementation of modern technologies. The importance of coordination with international organizations and cooperation on economic, informational, and environmental aspects of the industry was also emphasized.

Following the meeting, a roadmap for further cooperation was outlined, aimed at accelerating transportation and strengthening the role of railways as a key link in Eurasian logistics.
