A two-day seminar was held in Almaty to improve cooperation between the units of JSC "NC "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" and state services in preventing and responding to emergency situations at railway transport facilities.
The event was organized by KTZ jointly with the Department of Emergency Situations (DES) of the Almaty region. It was attended by employees of the KTZ non-state fire service, civil protection specialists, representatives of state agencies, and fire safety experts.

Additionally, 473 fire-technical minimum training sessions were organized, with over 4,900 people successfully completing the course. In cooperation with DES units, 131 drills were carried out.

According to the scenario, a fire broke out in a passenger car. The participants practiced fire detection, emergency services notification, passenger evacuation, first aid delivery, and inter-agency cooperation. Following the drills, the simulated fire was successfully extinguished, and the readiness of the units for joint operations received a positive evaluation.
